Jenny Goldstein is our March Global Connections speaker. Ms. Goldstein is a Geographer, completing her dissertation at UCLA. She is interested in food and agricultural systems and their impact on trade globalization, economic development, the environment and social justice. She has conducted research on coffee tasters in Rwanda and is currently researching produce distributors in downtown Los Angeles.
Her talk, “Who Decides What Tastes Good? The Invisible Middlemen in Global Food Commodity Networks” will be held on Thursday, March 31st at 4:00pm in CEC-116. All are welcome!
