Marymount College Announces Tuition-Free College for Senior Adults


Marymount College is offering members of the nonprofit senior organization, Peninsula Seniors, the opportunity to enroll in Marymount College courses, without tuition payment, for the fall semester 2012. Peninsula Seniors’ members may audit courses at both Marymount College’s campuses in Rancho Palos Verdes and San Pedro.

Marymount College course information and registration forms are now available at the Peninsula Seniors’ office, located at 30928 Hawthorne Boulevard, Rancho Palos Verdes. You must be a member of Peninsula Seniors to register. The annual fee to be a member of Peninsula Seniors is $45. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Courses available for auditing include a variety of classes in arts and media, business, economics, English, history, psychology and religion.

Peninsula Seniors is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors serving the senior adult community on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and in surrounding areas. For more information visit www.pvseniors.org.

Marymount College Announces New Trustees

Chairman of the Marymount College Board of Trustees Burt Arnold and President of Marymount College Dr. Michael Brophy, announce the appointment of eight new members to its Board of Trustees. Randy Bowers, Eric Eisenberg, Alan Johnson, Sabrina Kay, Ashley Constable Neary, Alice Healy-Senso, Camilla Townsend and Maryann Walker have recently joined the leadership group comprised of community and national leaders who serve to further the mission of the private, Catholic four-year college located in Rancho Palos Verdes and San Pedro.
