Ron Shelton’s film “White Men Can’t Jump” is the first film
up in this year’s edition of the Ito/Matsuura Film Series and will play on Wednesday,
Sept. 19
th at the Warner Grand in San Pedro at 7 PM.
Ron Shelton is the writer/director of “Bull Durham”, “Tin Cup, “Cobb”, “Play it to the Bone”, “Dark Blue” and “Bad Boys 2.” Mr. Shelton will host a Q & A session after
the film.
Mr. Shelton will also be visiting the campus earlier in the day to
talk with film students. Before the screening at 4 PM in Waterfront 111B. Anyone interested in the state of the Hollywood film
industry should attend.
In the evening enjoy the wonderful performances by
Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes in “White Men Can’t Jump.”
