Marymount at RECongress!

This past weekend, Fr. Mark, three Marymount students, and Alejandra Angel were in Anaheim for the Religious Education Congress, which is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.  Our Marymount students played a crucial role in helping on Saturday and Sunday.  Sister Edith Prendergast even acknowledged Marymount College for their help during the weekend, as she delivered her closing speeches on Sunday.

Saturday, they helped to transform a meeting room into a sacred space for Stations of the Cross…

On Sunday, Kelly and Natalie processed with gifts for the altar in front of 20,000+ people, not including those watching the livestream…

College students from LMU, UCLA, USC, Mount St. Mary’s College, and Marymount College gathered at the altar.  What a wonderful sight!  So many young people!
